New Ford Ranger launched in Argentina in the 2nd quarter of 2016

     Under the hood, the Ranger Puma 2016 retains the turbo 5-cylinder engine with 3.2 liters and 200 hp, which has improved and the exhaust gas recirculation, a reduction in consumption. In turn, the smaller impeller, also Puma family with 4 cylinder 2.2 liter, increased potency from 125 to 130 hp. In both cases, the transmission options remain manual or automatic six-speed.

      Ford says the Ranger 2016 shows a decrease in consumption up to 15% on average, thanks to improvements in engines but also to relationships of longer safe and the new power-assisted steering, replacing hydraulic model current. Only on this last point, the Oval emphasizes that reducing consumption is 3 percent.

     In terms of equipment, updating the Ranger incorporates new devices like the warning system and lane change assistance, adaptive cruise control speed, tire pressure sensor system for detecting driver fatigue and emergency call if accident.

     The equipment described above are included in the New Ranger brought from Thailand in March 2015.
